I used Angel Oak and had the same bad experience as the previous review. They used appraisal nation for an appraisal and the company Low ball my appraisal by 40%. Until Angel learns to use local appraisers their business is going to decline. Horrible company

I've done several loans with Angel Oak and very Satisfied with the service until my latest deal where I learned they're using Appraisal Nation for their Appraisals instead of local Appraisers. My last appraisal fee to the Local Appraiser was $400 but now Appraisal nation is asking $550 in which they will low bid it out to any appraiser who would take the $275-$300 fee for the work which will result in a poor appraisal. Please go back to using Local Appraisal Firms! I know this because I'm an Appraiser and AppraisalNation emails me their BS Bids on a daily basis!
